On Wednesday November 9th, the Apple Store in London’s Regent Street will be hosting a day on Wedding and Portrait Photographpy, presented by MV, a photographer’s collective representing some of the best Wedding and Portrait Photographers in this country.
I am hugely proud to be a member of this group and to be involved in the Apple Store event.
The Apple Store billing reads as follows:
“Join members from MV – a photographer’s collective formed from some of the UK’s leading wedding and portrait photographers – as they present their professional and personal work. Find out what it takes to continually produce timeless and beautiful images, whether with documentary wedding photography or evocative and thought-provoking portraits. See their images, hear the motivation behind them and speak to members of the collective about your own portfolio.”
The event will run from 12 noon until 8pm. There will a number of AV Shows presenting the work of the group. The show will run 3 times, at 12noon, 3pm and 6pm.
There will also be 6 talks held throughout the day on:
Using Light.
Documentary weddings.
Creative wedding photography.
Portraiture.
Personal Projects.
MV.
The talks will alst about 15-20 minutes followed by some Q&A.
And finally, there will be members of MV available to offer portfolio reviews for aspiring photographers. These sessions need to be booked in advance through the Apple Store.
All in all, I think it’s a really fabulous program of events, and I hope lots of you can make it. I hope to see you there – tell you friends!
