Landscape Photography in and around Aberdovey, Gwynedd.

It is not often that I get the chance to post any personal work, with many of my personal photographs hiding neglected in a folder on my PC somewhere.

Well no more. Today,  I would like to share a few images from recent visits to Aberdovey, a beautiful little seaside town in mid-Wales. Part of the Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey has been home to many generations of my family and I often visit (sadly mostly for very short trips) to see my aunt Marion and her dog Spezi. I keep meaning to make a “proper” dedicated landscape photography trip to the area, as it is so stunning and the vista changes constantly, depending on time of year and the tides, but so far, with time in permanently short supply, I’ve only managed to walk around with my point and shoot in my pocket. And here are some of the results.

Very nice – it’s a long time since I went to Snowdonia. It just shows you don’t need a fancy SLR to take great photos.
