It’s been two and half years since I photographed Julie and John’s wedding at the Mercure hotel in Milton Keynes, and so I was thrilled when they contacted me earlier in the year to let me know they were expecting. Well, he has arrived! Welcome to the world little Ted. Here he is at just under 2 weeks old. I look forward to seeing him again for his next session when he’s sitting up.

Newborn Baby Photography | Finlay

This post gives me the greatest of personal pleasure!!! On Christmas Day our dear friends Alex and Susan became the proud parents of Baby Finlay, brother to Oliva, my other half’s God-daughter. Little Finn wasn’t expect until New Year’s Eve, so there was plenty of upheaval on Christmas morning when it was time to head off to hospital.

We visited on New Year’s Day, and of course, I couldn’t help but bring my camera. This was NOT a formal shoot of any kind, it was not planned, there were other well-wishers there too, so I just grabbed a few shots whilst I could.

Many congratulations to Susan, Alex and Olivia, and a big “WELCOME to the world!” to little Finlay.

Lunch with Emma, Paul and Lily Alice | Newborn Photography in London

I recently featured images from Emma and Paul’s maternity session, and it was my great pleasure to visit them today to meet baby Lily Alice for the first time, who arrived just three weeks ago. These are just few shots that I quickly grabbed after lunch – we’ll have a “proper” Newborn Session next month, but I couldn’t walk away without grabbing a few shots. She’s just sooooooooo adorable.

Welcome to Elizabeth Florence | Newborn Photography in London

Little Elizabeth Florence only made her first appearance on earth 4 short weeks ago, but already she’s gorgeous.

So Mum Janey decided that booking a Newborn Photography Session and getting a beautiful Art Print made up just in time for Father’s Day, would be the perfect gift for new Dad Mick.

We even tinkered with one of my bespoke Baby Announcement Cards to turn it into a Father’s Day Card.

From the text message I received on Sunday, I gather the surprise was a big hit!

Baby Thomas has arrived! Newborn Photography in London

It’s sooooooo exciting for me when I get to watch my clients’ families develop and grow. I have been photographing Emma and Simon since their engagement, through their wedding, their recent maternity photographs and now, here he is:

Thomas Jeffrey, 10 days old.

Isn’t he a cutie?

I just LOVE tiny baby hands and feet!

Mum and Dad are obviously very proud, and so they should be.

Wedding Photography Birmingham | Mark & Bonnie

Much as we had hoped that the rain would stay away, the forecast was not good and the days leading up to the wedding had seen heavy rainful.
Still, Bonnie was not going to the weather get her down. Getting ready at the Stone Manor Hotel at Kidderminster,

Bonnie was surrounded by her many bridesmaids and family, including her handsome brother Jackson

And of course her Dad, Barry.

We were running a little bit late so didn’t get a chance for bridal portraits in the morning as we had to rush off to Holy Trinity Church in Belbroughton, where groom Mark eagerly awaited his brides arrival.

Rushing to the church in the rain,

Bonnie nontheless took a few moments to collect her thoughts

Before making her lifetime commitment to Mark.

After the ceremony it was smiles and kisses all around,

And the rain gave us enough interruptions to be able to get some nice shots in the sun at the reception.

where the guests quickly settled in to enjoy the meal.

We used the time between courses to hide in Mark’s parents house to try and make up for the bridal portraits we didn’t get to do in the morning.

I particularly like this sexy/moody shot of Bonnie… something a bit different from a wedding day.

After the speeches I departed, leaving them all to continue enjoying their celebrations.
