Well, I’m back from South Africa and right back into the thick of it. I won’t be able to blog everything I’ve shot in the meantime, but here’s a start. Just before I went away, I had the pleasure of photographing the Simcha of Avi and Charlotte at the Millenium Gloucester Hotel, London.
Charlotte is ever so photogenic and the camera just loves her.

And her natural beauty was enhanced on the day by the fabulous work of makeup artist Sarah Field (020 8203 7116). I’ve worked with Sarah on several occasions now and her makeup has always been just right. Always enhancing the bride’s features, yet never too much.

Proud dad Michael was keenly awaiting his first glance of his daughter in her wedding gown..

and I think the look on his face says it all.

We then shot a few bridal portraits …

before I headed off to see groom Avi, only a few miles away at his parents home.

The boys had lined up a Hummer stretch limo to take them to the hotel.

It was so huge we barely managed to turn it into the hotel drive!

Once at the hotel, the gentleman proceeded to the Tisch where the wedding contract needed to be signed,

and after Mincha, the ladies were ready to welcome the groom for the Bedeken of the bride.

Then it was off to the Chuppah in the hotel’s lovely Conservatory for the ceremony.

After the couple’s private time, we used the beautiful fireplace at the hotel for some of our informal portraits

and then went around the outside of the hotel to get a shot with the car.

Then it was straight into the Simcha with both the boys and the girls coming up with plenty of shtick for the couple.

After the speeches, prayers and more Simcha Dancing to music ensemble Creation , it was time for me to head home.

Mazeltov! to Avi and Charlotte for a long and happy life together.
